Not If But When...

Studies show that people with dementia have a greater chance of being involved in a car accident than people without dementia.

Dementia affects your reaction time, judgment and the ability to do many tasks at once such as checking the rear-view mirror and attending to oncoming traffic.

This PSA was produced at the Geriatric Medicine Research Unit about helping caregivers understand their role in the problem of driving and dementia.
